Goodbye from StarDust!
March 28, 2014
As we at VINNOVA were summing up the StarDust project during the last weeks, we are delighted to see that large mobilization is going on all around the Baltic Sea region. The StarDust project was the stepping stone for future BSR Stars collaboration and we realize that many of our project partners are very active in applying for the new funding period. Based on the achieved high quality outputs of StarDust, many of our project partners are involved in new collaborations. I am confident that they will be successful in the upcoming calls of Horizon 2020 and the EUs transnational programs 2014-2020.
The BSR Stars flagship promotes two upcoming calls during 2014: The first one is the BONUS Innovation call which will open during fall. The second call is the BSR Innovation Express which will open in May supporting internationalisation of SMEs through cluster initiatives and business networks. Companies and intermediaries are moreover invited to a matchmaking event in Berlin on the 18-19th of September organized by DASTI/Netmatch to find new collaboration partners.
We proudly present our final results from StarDust in an infograph that you can also be downloaded here.
The results of the flagship programme BSR Stars are also visualised in a graph and can be downloaded here.
I would like to thank my StarDust team for great contribution to the received achievements within our project and the joyful time we always had together! Erik Bunis, Christin Skiera and Sophie Lehmann are moving on to new challenging tasks (although I don’t think anything can be more challenging than this). I wish them all the best for their new adventures! Our colleague Emily Wise will be working for us for one more month. Furthermore, is BSR Stars chairman Pirjo Kutinlahti taking a temporary leave for 6 months and I wish her a very pleasant break.
